A little Pegasus (winged horse of Greek mythology) dances around on the edge of the cliff, excited and terrified for its First Flight.  Pegasus gathers all his nerve and plunges off the cliff, tumbling haphazardly through the sky.  Pegasus is very scared until he remembers to open his wings.....then he soars skyward!  Flying is everything he imagined it to be!
 
Late Intermediate piano solo composed for the Cascadia Composers "In Good Hands" concert in July, 2023.  This was a collaboration piece for pianist Emma Xiong.
