When my sons were 3 and 5 years old, they used to love to throw pink petals from a neighborhood tree into the air and yell, "For Joy!"  Their exuberance and pure enjoyment of these sorts of simple activities still inspires me to this day.  Watching them grow and learn is bittersweet, as is this lovely, lyrical, and chordal piece.
