Purple Skies:
This past summer, the Oregon wildfires brought smoke for weeks that choked out the sun and permeated everything.  While trapped indoors, this piece was born from my wonder at the amazing colors of the sky, and my desperate hopes for safety and health for the people, animals and landscapes that were devastated by these unforgiving natural forces.
