Hurricane Creek trail in the Wallowa Whitman National Forest is one of my favorite places in the world.  I have hiked this trail in all seasons and every single time, I come away rejuvenated and with my heart full.  Revel in the babbling of the creek, the wind in the aspens, the views of soaring peaks, and the utter joy that is being Up Hurricane Creek.    This is late-intermediate/advanced level piece that was premiered at Oregon Soundscapes, a concert by Cascadia Composers, in early 2026.
